If you have L&D management experience and are comfortable studying at postgraduate level, this is the programme for you. If you have studied at degree level or higher in a business related area but do not have L&D management experience, this programme could still be right for you. In this scenario we would strongly recommend you gain access to a mentor during your studies, or consider taking our CIPD Level 5 Certificate/Diploma in L&D programme first.With this programme you can choose to use your current or past employer as the basis for your study or our unique immersive case study environment (DPG are the only CIPD Centre that offers this), so you get to practice risk free in a virtual online company.Your Learning OptionsBlended (Workshops and online)Learn through on-line modules, which you access at your leisure, combined with regular interactive workshops. You can complete the certificate in as little as 12 months and the diploma in 24 months.
The Human Resources Development programme includes four core modules which are the same as those in the Human Resource Management programme. There are then four different specialist L&D focussed modules.Core modules
Once you’ve finished this Diploma programme, you will have achieved the highest standard of professionalism within the L&D field. You will also have achieved the knowledge required for CIPD Chartered membership. If you then have the relevant work experience, you can apply for a membership assessment (assessing your workplace activities and behaviours) and if successful, you will be upgraded to Chartered Member (MCIPD).
