FAQs

What is your approach to delivering apprenticeships?

We deliver apprenticeships as a partnership, between you, the apprentice and DPG. Vocational based learning is our specialism and our apprenticeship programme is based on a tried and tested delivery model.

This consists of

  • a blended learning approach, where a DPG apprentice follows a learning programmes which mixes online learning modules, face to face workshops and our unique Business Consultancy- a business simulation to help each apprentice apply learning and develop their skills and behaviours.  Our Business Consultancy also helps apprentices prepare for the real world by providing them with real life learning in a safe environment. This learning approach meets the 20% off the job learning in a cost-effective way and ensures that you know when each apprentice is ready for their End Assessment.
  • e-learning resources which are accessed via a Learning Management System called Enable-2, provided through our partner Virtual College (eLearning Provider of the Year 2015/2016). This web enabled learning provides you with learning progress reports so you can monitor individual progress.
  • expert facilitators– all DPG facilitators are current practitioners and not only deliver the workshops but also support each apprentice remotely, with a 24-hour response rate including weekends, evenings and holiday periods.
  • an electronic Portfolio of Evidence, and performance monitoring and support in preparation for the end-point assessment. Our dedicated training and development officers meet with you and the apprentice each month to discuss progress and review the programme and support provided, so that we can make sure that your outcomes are realised
  • the opportunity for dual accreditation as an optional extra. Apprentices can not only meet the standards but complete their learning with a qualification and membership of either the CIPD or ILM.
  • lifetime, free access to our award-winning DPG community, a social media based platform for apprentices to network and build expertise in their chosen field with current practitioners.
