We offer four apprenticeship standards in HR and Leadership & Management in major city centre locations across England and Wales, with our Level 3 and Level 5 HR apprenticeships ready to book onto. We can work with you to create bespoke, in-house apprenticeship programmes, or help you place your staff on one of our open programmes.

You employ fewer than 50 employees

Your organisation does not pay into the Apprenticeship Levy which means you cannot currently use the Levy to fund apprenticeship programmes in your organisation.

That doesn’t stop you providing apprenticeship training. The government will pay for all the training costs of apprentices aged 16-18 as well as 19- to 24-year-olds who are in care or who have an education and health care plan.

For all other apprentices, the government will pay 90% of training costs whilst your organisation pays the remaining 10%.

You have more than 50 employees

If you have more than 50 employees but your annual salary bill is less than £3 million a year then the government will pay 90% of any apprenticeship training, up to the funding limit for that skill as set by the government.

Apprenticeships enable organisations to focus on the most effective form of learning – building skills on the job. That means your apprentices can work and learn. Our blended learning programmes for apprenticeships have been designed specifically to enable apprentices to do their learning while at work.

You are paying into the Apprenticeship Levy

You are paying into the Apprenticeship Levy and so are entitled to use that money to develop your workforce through apprenticeship programmes. What are you waiting for? You have a training budget to develop colleagues whilst at work and on the job.

  • Our unique Business Consultancy is a business simulation to help each apprentice apply learning and develop their skills and behaviours. It provides real life learning in a safe environment. This learning approach meets the 20% off the job learning requirement of the apprenticeship in a cost-effective way and ensures that you know when each apprentice is ready for their End Assessment.
  • E-learning resources which are accessed via a Learning Management System called Enable-2, provided through our partner Virtual College (eLearning Provider of the Year 2015/2016). This web-enabled learning provides you with learning progress reports so you can monitor individual progress.
  • An electronic Portfolio of Evidence, performance monitoring and support for assessments. Our dedicated training and development officers meet with you and the apprentice each month to discuss progress and review the programme and the support you require.
  • Your apprentices will have the option to join the DPG community giving them lifetime, free access to our award-winning, social media based platform. They’ll be able to network and build expertise in their chosen field alongside current practitioners.

How can you work with me?

We can deliver apprenticeships in a way that best suits your organisation.

  1. Corporate delivery of apprenticeship standards –  If you are looking to develop six or more employees then we can provide a bespoke, tailor-made apprenticeship programme at a location and venue of your choice.
  2. Open Apprenticeship Programmes

If you only have one or two apprenticeships, then we run open programmes across the UK starting at various times throughout the year. We have new dates being confirmed all the time, so please contact us for further information.

How can you help me meet the apprenticeship levy funding requirements?

Through long-standing partnerships with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and Institute of Leadership and Management, we can help you plan your organisational strategy for apprenticeships, so you meet the Apprenticeship Levy funding requirements. We offer a mix of learning methods, designed to revolve around the work place, all approved by awarding bodies to meet the apprenticeship standards. Our expert advisors will help you with any training needs analysis and develop a programme that works around your needs.
