Are you an L&D or business manager looking to support your colleagues through change?
It’s a tricky area for organisations as most change initiatives fail. This is largely because organisations have little understanding of how individuals perceive change and how open they are to change.
The Engage online diagnostic overcomes this problem. In just 15 minutes you can assess an individual’s readiness for change and what might be holding them back.
Engage focuses on the people aspect of change and organisational performance. With it you can assess change readiness, diagnose accelerators and blockers, define appropriate interventions, implement robust approaches and measure effectiveness over time.
The diagnostic looks at the three key areas that affect change:
1. An individual’s confidence, which measures an individual’s view of themselves
2. Their openness to change, which measures their ability to adapt and develop
3. Their impact – those factors that relate to positive outcomes, such as emotional commitment and intention to stay in the role.
Engage automatically generates a report that can be used for development and coaching conversations. The insights from reports will provide an overall picture of an individual’s, team’s or organisation’s readiness for change.
That’s not all. The diagnostic can also be used to support your organisation in the following ways:
Assess readiness for change
Take the pulse of an individual, your team or organisation and analyse the data in a number of ways, including by department, location or pay grade.
Develop your people
Use the diagnostic to help individuals take ownership of theor own development and approach to change. The first step to changing is to recognize what might be stopping you from doing things differently.
Measure impact over time
Engage can be used to measure the impact of change over time. It can also be used to measure the impact of development programmes, onboarding, leadership development and other talent management initiatives.
Engage provides robust data enabling organisations to make more effective decisions during change and transition, and to drive personal change within development programmes. The tool has been developed over the last 10 years by a team of business psychologists led by Dr Judi O’Dell.
